Hey, I’m Adriana
A Multi-Hyphenate Creative Artist.
Based in Seattle, Denver, DFW
I am my mother’s daughter, hija de mi madre. I am here to use my voice and body to tell stories onstage, on screen, through podcasts and blogs.
Hija de tu madre is a Mexican phrase used to curse at you. I embrace that. I embrace the messiness to bring my voice to my storytelling. It is from the women that have raised me that I am here to do this work, break intergenerational barriers and make theatrical experiences that provoke and inspire audiences.
Through the grace of my ancestors, I share the power of storytelling to entertain, educate and connect with people.
With over 15 years of training in theatre, dance and music. Outside of theatre, I have ventured into many forms of storytelling which include: choreographing, video blogging, podcasting, and photography.
In my work, I highlight the significance of my Southwest culture and embrace community in any way I can.
I invite audiences to share an experience that is atmospherically different from the outside world. They are invited to see themselves in the story they are experiencing. I aim to inspire the audiences with hope and joy so they can go through the world with a little more light radiating from their hearts.
I am passionate about the arts and travel. The world can be a better place with more arts and a better understanding of others.
