A little bit more about me.
I am a multifaceted creative artist that loves to explore everything the world has to offer. While exploring new places, I love to learn more about the cultural landscapes and how that thrives within communities.
I have trained in acting, dance and voice using these skills to perform onstage, in tours, and through the sound waves. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theatre with a minor in dance and am currently studying at the University of Washington for a Master of Fine Arts in their Professional Acting Training Program. I truly believe that all forms of art have the ability to change the world.
In my teaching, I implement the mayan philosophy of In Lak’ech, you are my other me. I am interested in creating environments that welcome creativity and fearless choices. My physical training includes movement methods such as Laban, Suzuki, Viewpoints, Archetypes, Alexander Technique, yoga/contact improvisation and clown.
I engage in both published works across classical and contemporary genres, as well as devised/generated works and processes. Collaboration is one of my favorite parts of creating works together so I look forward to each collaboration whether we interpret texts together or create something new.
